Uterine cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the uterus when the endometrium gets out of control and crowds normal cells. The endometrial (uterine) cancer cells move quickly to all other body parts like the liver or vagina and begin to grow there. It is known as metastasis when cancer cells spread to other areas. However, the cancer type is based on the kind of site it begins.
